Hi, I’m Divya,
It's so nice to meet you!
I'm the founder and creative force behind Butter & Batter. What started as a fun experiment, baking boxed cakes for my nephews, has grown into a journey of artistry, resilience, and connection.
I never imagined it would turn into a full-blown passion led business, blending my South Asian heritage with the elegance of French patisserie.
I am inspired to create flavours from my childhood, think paan, thandai, and coconut burfi infused into delicate and flavourful macarons—each bite is a little piece of nostalgia and creativity that tells a unique story.
Self-taught and endlessly curious, I stepped away from corporate life to pursue my passion for desserts and entrepreneurship. Butter & Batter is my love letter to the joy sweets bring, the memories they evoke, and the connections they create.

When I’m not perfecting macarons in the kitchen, you’ll find me sharing the ups and downs of my journey with my community and empowering others to chase their passions.
Whether you’re here for a taste of nostalgia, an elegant dessert for your celebration, or a little inspiration to pursue your dreams, I hope Butter & Batter brings a smile to your face.
Thank you for being here and for being part of this journey - it's truly an honour.
